What to do with Sam Darnold in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Sam Darnold ahead of the Giants Week 14 matchup against the Cardinals.

For the first time all season, Sam Darnold actually produced some solid fantasy football numbers last week. The New York Jets quarterback threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran in another score last week against the Raiders. He did throw a pick too, and had just 186 passing yards. Seeing those numbers, you might be tempted to give him a try this week against the Seahawks.

Fantasy Football analysis: Giants QB Sam Darnold

In eight games this season, Darnold has only topped 200 passing yards twice. And last week’s outing was his only one with more than one touchdown. Betting on him to post decent numbers for two weeks in row is just too risky.

The Seahawks defense has improved lately too. Over the last four games, opposing quarterbacks are averaging just over 16 fantasy points. And only two players in that span have had more than one touchdown. I would leave Darnold out of your lineup this week.
