What to do with Darren Waller in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Darren Waller ahead of the Raiders Week 14 matchup against the Colts.

If you had Las Vegas Raiders tight end in your lineup last week, it’s fair to say you likely won your matchup. It’s unrealistic he will put up last week’s performance in Week 14 or potentially ever because it was a historic moment for tight end statistics, but here’s a look at his fantasy outlook for the weekend.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders TE Darren Waller

In last week’s game, a 31-28 win over the New York Jets, Waller caught 13 of 17 passes from Derek Carr for 200 yards and two touchdowns. He became the sixth tight end in the history of the NFL to crack the 200-yard mark.

While the 200 yards may never happen again for Waller, but it’s incredibly encouraging to see how many times Carr looked his way. Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was fired after this game, so the game plan to stop Waller might not have been the greatest.

Waller and the Raiders will get the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday afternoon. In its last time out, the Colts allowed big numbers to the Houston Texans wide receivers, but Jordan Atkins was the best tight end option, catching two of three targets for 10 yards.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

You will be starting Waller if he is on your team this weekend. He should be ranked as the second tight end on Sunday behind only Travis Kelce as the two best at this position.
