Just like their quarterback Philip Rivers, the Indianapolis Colts trio of wide receivers will be trying to duplicate their Week 13 success against another favorable matchup in the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Fantasy Football analysis: Colts WRs T.Y. Hilton, Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal
Last week against the Houston Texans, Colts veteran wideout T.Y. Hilton posted his first 100-yard receiving game this season. Hilton had eight receptions (11 targets) for 110 yards and a touchdown. It was the second-straight week Hilton scored a touchdown, giving him two on the season.
In regards to fantasy football, he scored a season-high 17 fantasy points, which is what you want to see as a fantasy football manager. Along with Hilton, rookie wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. had another productive outing, while Zach Pascal only registered one reception for 11 yards.
Pittman Jr., the second-round pick out of USC, has been one of Rivers’ favorite targets on the perimeter recently. In Week 13, he was the team’s second-leading wide receiver with five receptions (five targets) for 46 yards.
The Colts’ wide receivers will be going up against a Raiders’ defense that is allowing 14 touchdowns, and 24.7 fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts. Furthermore, Las Vegas has allowed a receiving touchdown in five consecutive games.
