Indianapolis Colts veteran quarterback Philip Rivers will be looking to build off an efficient Week 13 performance when he faces the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts QB Philip Rivers

Last week against the Houston Texans, Rivers had one of his best games in his first season with the Colts. The veteran quarterback completed 27-of-35 passes (77.1 percent) for 285 yards and two touchdowns. It was the third-straight week where Rivers threw at least three touchdowns and 280 passing yards.

For his efforts, Rivers scored 19.2 fantasy points, which was the first time he reached the 19-point plateau since Week 11. Rhe former first round pick will have another opportunity to put up points and yards against a vulnerable Raiders’ defense on Sunday. This season, Las Vegas is giving up 257.1 passing yards per game and 19.3 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

In their last three games, the Raiders’ defense has allowed quarterbacks to score 24, 17, and 23 fantasy points, respectively. Their second-highest point total (23) was produced by New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold.

That being said, if you are looking for a streaming option in your fantasy football playoffs or DFS, go right ahead and start Rivers.
