What to do with Josh Allen in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Josh Allen ahead of the Bills Week 14 matchup against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Top Targets for Sunday Night’s Pittsburgh at Buffalo Showdown

Josh Allen is playing his way into the MVP conversation this season. What’s been most impressive about it is just how well he’s throwing the ball this year, something we didn’t see with much consistency prior to this season. Last week against the 49ers, Allen threw four touchdown passes, for the third time this season, and he had 375 yards and an impressive 80 percent completion rate to go with it. Those are attractive QB1 numbers for fantasy football, though he does have a more difficult matchup this week against the Steelers.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills QB Josh Allen

Allen has now scored multiple times in four straight games, which includes rushing touchdowns. He’s not doing quite as much on the ground as in recent years, but his six rushing scores (with four games left to play) suggest that he’ll finish close to previous totals in that department at least.

It’s a good thing that he has become such a good passer this season because running the ball is going to be tough against the Steelers. They haven’t allowed an opposing quarterback to score a rushing touchdown all year. Pittsburgh hasn’t been very easy to throw against lately either—no opposing signal-caller has thrown multiple touchdowns against the Steelers since Week 8. Now, that stretch has mostly seen the Steelers playing backups and rookies, so there’s no reason to think that Allen can’t break the streak.
