After a down week, Dalvin Cook jumped right back into his usual fantasy football MVP looking self last Sunday against the Jaguars. The Minnesota Vikings running back had a season-high 32 carries for 120 yards. He also caught six passes for another 59 yards. The Vikings have a tougher task this week against the Buccaneers, but Cook’s just too good to ever justify him as anything less than a must-start RB1 in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings RB Dalvin Cook
What’s most notable about Cook’s recent production is that he’s not scoring at the same clip he was earlier in the season. He’s got just one touchdown in his last four games, versus an unbroken scoring streak through his first seven. But the touchdowns will come, maybe even this week.
The Buccaneers are allowing just three yards per rushing attempt to opposing running backs, and they’ve only given up seven rushing and three receiving scores to the position. No running back has even sniffed 100 yards from scrimmage either. But Cook’s a different kind of player, the kind you can’t afford to leave out of your lineup.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
