The Green Bay Packers returned to a more one-sided workload between their two running backs last week, a week removed from an even split of carries the week before against the Beas. It’s notable the Bears game is the only game we’ve seen such an even split for the two backs this season. That being said, the Packers’ Week 14 matchup with the Lions could have both Aaron Jones better well-positioned to contribute for fantasy football managers.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers RBs Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams
Last week against the Eagles, Jones had 15 carries for 130 yards and a score and added three receptions. Williams had five carries for 26 yards and two receptions.
The running backs have a great matchup this week against the Lions. Detroit ranks dead last in fantasy points allowed to the running back position. Additionally, they rank 28th in run defense efficiency and 21st in adjusted line yards, so it’s not just running up numbers in blowouts. Last week, Chicago’s running backs rushed for 131 yards on 27 carries and had three rushing touchdowns.
