The Big Ten season won’t go quietly, as the Minnesota Golden Gophers are missing 33 players for their game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers today in Lincoln, NE.
Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports says the Gophers will be extremely hamstrung at a few positions:
SOURCE: #Minnesota will be without 33 players against #Nebraska on Saturday. The Gophers will be without a couple starting O-linemen and also are down to four DTs and only two tight ends. #BigNoonKickoff

The line for this game opened at Nebraska -10, and it hasn’t really moved yet with this news. It’s still Huskers -10 as we write this at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Being down to four defensive tackles shouldn’t be so bad for UM because there’s usually only two on the field at most at a time, but an injury to the tight end position could lead to a lot of 10 personnel looks from P.J. Fleck and Tanner Morgan today.
We’ll keep an eye peeled if this line starts moving or anything else happens closer to kickoff, or if some of the names involved are released. But for now, proceed with caution on this game as a bettor today.
