Friday PM update: Brown practiced in full and has no injury designation for Week 14 when the Titans take on the Jaguars. Play him as usual in fantasy.
Friday update: Brown is “expected to play,” per Adam Caplan. Brown injured his ankle last week and has been bothered by a nagging knee injury, but he should be able to go in a great matchup with the Jaguars. He should be knocked down somewhat in your rankings, but is still a must start in most leagues.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has been unable to practice Wednesday or Thursday of Week 14 due to an ankle injury, per Turron Davenport. In previous weeks, Brown has been getting Thursday’s off to rest his knee, but after missing Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury and again missing Thursday, it appears he has a real chance of not going this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brown hurt his ankle against the Browns, but played through the injury. But even with the adrenaline pumping, Brown still had a noticeable limp. With a matchup against the one-win Jaguars, the Titans can be cautious with him, so just because Brown is a “grown ass man,” it doesn’t mean he won’t sit this week.
Corey Davis has proven his worth this season and would be called on to lead the receivers in a great matchup. If Brown can’t go, expect Davis to be heavily rostered in DFS and really, even if Brown can go.
