Orlando Magic C Mo Bamba has no timetable for a return despite testing positive for Covid-19 in June, coach Steve Clifford told The Athletic on Tuesday. The Magic opened up training camp, as did most of the NBA, on Tuesday. Bamba is not ready to come back and participate in full team activities. The season is set to begin on Dec. 22 and schedules are expected to be released later in the week.

Along with Bamba, Al-Farouq Aminu and Jonathan Isaac also have no timetables for a return. Aminu and Isaac are both dealing with knee injuries. Isaac is not expected to play at all this season after tearing his ACL in the NBA bubble. This could leave the Magic pretty thing in the front court to start the 2020-21 season.

So behind Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic, the Magic will likely need to lean on Khem Birch, Gary Clark and Chuma Okeke. We could see smaller lineups featuring both Terrence Ross and Gordon. We saw Birch and Clark fill in at PF and C at times last season. Clark was a staple value play in DFS in the NBA bubble for Orlando with Gordon and Isaac both ailing.
