Game status: Mark Ingram is INACTIVE for Week 9.
The Baltimore Ravens will not have running back Mark Ingram for the second week in a row. He is officially listed as doubtful and not expected to play against the Colts on Sunday. Ingram is dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice all week.
Fantasy impact: Mark Ingram (ankle)
Without Ingram, the Ravens will lean on rookie J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Both players had a big game last week against the Steelers. Edwards had a slight edge in carries—something that’s expected to continue—with 16 rushing attempts for 87 yards and a touchdown. Dobbins still managed to carry the ball 15 times for 113 yards. He adds value for his role in the passing game too, even though that only translated to just eight extra yards last week.
Both Edwards and Dobbins are solid fantasy plays as long as Ingram is out of action and the Ravens insistent on running the ball.
