What to do with the Dolphins RBs in Week 9 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook for the Dolphins RBs ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Cardinals.

Miami Dolphins running backs Jordan Howard and Patrick Laird should see an increase in touches in an injured backfield as they head into their Week 9 matchups.

Here’s a look at what fantasy owners should be doing about the Dolphins backfield this weekend.

Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins RBs Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird

Miami’s go-to running back Myles Gaskin was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, and Matt Breida has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with an injured hamstring leaving Howard to likely be the guy this weekend with potential for Laird to see some touches.

Gaskin and Breida both appeared in last week’s game, a 28-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams, though the Miami rushing attack had just 25 carries for 55 yards in the win. Howard and Laird failed to accumulate a single stat on Sunday.

Miami will face an Arizona Cardinals defense this weekend, which allowed 200 rushing yards to the Seattle Seahawks in their last game, though 84 of those yards came from Russell Wilson.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Howard can be used as a low-end third running back for fantasy purposes, while Laird should remain on all fantasy benches on Sunday.
