What to do with Chris Herndon in Week 9 fantasy football

We go over Chris Herndon’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Jets Week 9 matchup against the Patriots on Monday Night Football.

In the sinkhole that is the New York Jets offense, perhaps no player is a bigger disappointment than tight end Chris Herndon. As with most everyone else on the team, he can safely avoided in fantasy football this week and every week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jets TE Chris Herndon

Herndon was targeted twice in the Jets’ hopeless outing against the Kansas City Chiefs last week. He managed to catch one pass for a grand total of three yards. We laugh, but that was his best game out of his last three. He didn’t even get so much as a target in Weeks 6 and 7. So far this season, Herndon, who hasn’t missed a game, has 101 yards. He’s got one more year left on his rookie deal with the Jets, and maybe he’ll find greener pastures somewhere else in the future. Until then, he’s best left on the waiver wire in fantasy.
