The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only undefeated team in the NFL and have one of the most balanced offenses in the league. Ben Roethlisberger has been able to thrive after returning from the season-ending injury that brought 2019 to an early end for him because of his dynamic receiving corps. He’ll be up against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger
Roethlisberger has completed at least 20 passes to four different wide receivers. While JuJu Smith-Schuster was considered the top receiver at the beginning of the season, he’s taken a back seat to Diontae Johnson and rookie Chase Claypool for spells throughout the season. No pass catcher has stood out as a go-to target but Roethlisberger is among the league leaders in passing touchdowns with 15. He’s been an average fantasy quarterback this season because of his passing yardage numbers but could get a boost against a Cowboys defense that’s giving up a league-high 33.2 points per game. Having a plethora of options could help him dominate the opposition.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Dallas hasn’t been able to stop anybody all year. Start Roethlisberger in what could be his best game of the season.
