The Las Vegas Raiders have a divisional showdown in Los Angeles this weekend, taking on the Chargers. It’s a game that has the potential see a solid level of fantasy production from the wide receivers too.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor, Hunter Renfrow
The Raiders trio of receivers had a rough outing in Cleveland last week, a game that didn’t see much offense thanks in part to the weather. Renfrow scored the only touchdown in that game, a 16-6 win. It was just his second of the season.
After three weeks approaching No. 1 receiver production levels, Agholor saw his production collapse, failing to catch either of two targets that came his way. The week before that he had 107 yards and a touchdown, his third game in a row with a score. Outside of a 118-yard, one-touchdown outing in Week 5, Ruggs hasn’t done much.
It’s hard to say whether or not Agholor can regain those kind of production levels. The Chargers seem to be most vulnerable to slot receivers and tight ends, which bodes well for Darren Waller, Carr’s favorite target. It’s worth mentioning the Chargers traded away slot cornerback Desmond King last week. Of this trio, Renfrow is the best option.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Hunter Renfrow. Sit Nelson Agholor and Henry Ruggs.
