These are hard times for the Baltimore Ravens wide receivers. The team’s passing game is stuck in neutral, and injuries to the offense line point toward the team doubling down on a creative running game to power their offense. So what’s this mean for fantasy purposes in Week 8 when they face the Indianapolis Colts?
Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens WRs Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, Willie Snead
The biggest problem with a team that doesn’t throw the ball very much, or very well, is that you just don’t know what you’re going to get from week to week. Brown is the most talented receiver of this bunch, and he still leads the trio with 44 targets, 379 yards, and two touchdowns. He scored last week against the Steelers, but only caught one pass for three yards.
Snead caught five passes for 106 yards in that game, but he had a grand total of 56 yards in the four games before that. Boykin also scored, his first touchdown of the season, and had 20 yards, almost twice as much as he produced in the previous two games.
It’s hard to recommend any one of the three because there’s just no consistent pattern here to plan around. Brown has the most upside of the bunch, but he could also wind up getting blanked.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, and Willie Snead.
