Kyler Murray has been on a roll this season, and he is now coming off of an extra week of rest as he heads into a Week 9 match-up with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins aren’t an easy opponent by any means, as they allow the 9th fewest points to opposing fantasy quarterbacks, but Murray is likely up for the challenge. Is there any reason to question starting him this week? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray is averaging 27.9 fantasy points per game and is currently the third ranked fantasy quarterback. The Dolphins may be Murray’s toughest match-up so far this year, as they allow an average of only 20.1 to opposing quarterbacks. This doesn’t mean they are impervious, as they have allowed a 38.7 point performance to Josh Allen, a 27.3 point performance to Cam Newton, and a 25.5 point performance to Russel Wilson. The quarterbacks that have had success against Miami have all been quarterbacks with rushing ability, which bodes extremely well for Kyler Murray. Start him as a QB1 this weekend and don’t think twice about it.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Kyler Murray as a QB1.
