Game day update: Though Mark Ingram hasn’t been officially ruled out yet, he was listed on the Ravens final injury report as “doubtful” and hadn’t participated in a single practice on the week. Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins are each projected for fewer than 10 fantasy points facing the monstrous Darius Leonard, who returned from a groin injury in Week 8.
Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram is not expected to play on Sunday, leaving the carries available to Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins on Sunday. If you have either of these backs, here’s a look at what fantasy owners should be doing looking ahead to Sunday.
Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens RBs Gus Edwards, J.K. Dobbins
Ingram is doubtful for Sunday’s game as he is dealing with an ankle injury and sat out practice this week. He sat out last weekend in a 28-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, so we’ve gotten a preview of what to expect from the Baltimore backfield. Dobbins carried the ball 15 times for 113 yards and caught one pass for eight yards. Edwards rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
Baltimore is set to take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon on the road. The Colts are coming off 41-21 win over the Detroit Lions, which abandoned the running game early, finishing with just 29 yards rushing on 13 carries as a team.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Dobbins can be used as a No. 2 running back, while Edwards is a low-end third running back looking to the Week 9 matchup.
