New Ravens-Steelers game date allows for Mark Ingram, JK Dobbins to return

The Ravens could get their two big time running backs if their Week 12 contest happens on its new game date.

The NFL is once again moving the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game, and the new date offers some notable returns. Quarterback Lamar Jackson will remain sidelined due to Covid-19, but Mark Ingram and JK Dobbins will be allowed to play if they continue to test negative for the virus.

The Ravens-Steelers game was scheduled for Thanksgiving but moved to Sunday and then Tuesday as the Ravens dealt with a Covid-19 outbreak. Ingram and Dobbins were among the first players to be placed on the Covid-19 IR list and the new delay to Wednesday would give them just enough time to clear the league’s protocol. If they are activated and play, they would move back ahead of Gus Edwards on the depth chart.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday, but as of Monday evening, that’s still not a certainty. If the team has any more positive test results on Tuesday, this game could get postponed out of Week 12 entirely. Either way, it is still wise to avoid them in fantasy football if at all possible. If you can find Seahawks or Eagles to play, those are better options.
