Game status: Tyler Higbee is ACTIVE for Week 12.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee is officially listed as questionable on this week’s injury report, ahead of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Higbee is dealing with an elbow injury, and his playing status this week is expected to be a game-time decision.

Fantasy impact: Tyler Higbee (Elbow)

Higbee and his fellow Rams tight end, Gerald Everett, are both regular parts of the team’s offense. Unfortunately, the work is split between the two and they rarely produce usable fantasy football numbers. Higbee caught four passes last week, but he only produced 19 yards for the effort, hardly worthwhile even in a year where tight end production is so bad.

If Higbee can’t play, Everett’s fantasy value would skyrocket as the top tight end option in the Los Angeles offense. That would make him very useable in fantasy formats this week. But you’ll have to wait until Sunday to know for sure.
