What to do with Sam Darnold in Week 12 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Sam Darnold ahead of the Jets Week 12 matchup against the Dolphins.

It looks like the New York Jets are going to have quarterback Sam Darnold back in action this week. This will be his first start since Week 8 when a nagging shoulder injury flared up again. Still, don’t get too hyped about Darnold’s return. The Jets are struggling, and they’re playing a tough Dolphins defense on Sunday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jets QB Sam Darnold

Darnold has played just six games this season. He has three touchdowns and six interceptions to show for it. He has thrown for more than 200 yards in just two of those outings. Don’t expect things to get better this week either.

The Dolphins have nine picks in their last four games, and opposing quarterbacks are averaging less than 20 points per game against them this season. There hasn’t been a game all season where Darnold’s been an acceptable starter in fantasy football, and that’s certainly not changing this week.
