If you were to rank the most frustrating situations for a fantasy football team to navigate this season, the Los Angeles Rams tight ends would definitely be near the top of the list. They’ve both produced in the past, and with the position being a scoring desert this year, it’s always tempting to pick up one of them. But this week, you can avoid them both, thanks to the time share situation and their opponent, the 49ers.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TEs Tyler Higbee, Gerald Everett
Everett had the edge in targets last week, five to four. He caught four of them for 27 yards; Higbee pulled in all four of his, but only had 19 yards to show for it. Neither player happens to be much of a scoring threat either. Higbee has three touchdowns, all of which came in Week 2, and Everett has just one.
The 49ers have only allowed opposing tight ends to score twice this season, and the position group is averaging just over 32 yards per game against the team.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett.
