If you’re looking for tight end help in fantasy football this week, you might want to consider Mike Gesicki of the Miami Dolphins. Don’t get too excited. We’re not talking Travis Kelce stats or anything like that, but he’s got a decent chance to build on a string of consistent performances against a Jets team that struggles against tight ends.
Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins TE Mike Gesicki
Gesicki had 43 yards on four catches last week against the Broncos. However, that was his third game in a row with 40-some yards. It’s not exactly mind-blowing production, but he’s got a regular contribution with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa running the offense now.
Boosting his outlooks this week is a Jets team that’s given up seven touchdowns to tight ends this season. True, he got blanked the last time he played the Jets, while two of his teammates combined for 55 yards and two touchdowns, but he’s got a clear connection with the new QB.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Mike Gesicki.
