It’s Derek Carr’s turn to take on the friendliest defense in the NFL as the Raiders head to Atlanta to face a Falcon’s defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. How far up will this plus matchup bump Derek Carr in the rankings and should you start him this week? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr

Derek Carr is averaging 17.0 fantasy points per game and had a solid outing in his most recent performance, as he scored 21.0 points against a tough Kansas City Defense. Things should get a little easier for Carr this weekend when he sees a Falcons defense that has allowed 22 passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks this season. Carr is currently the 17th ranked quarterback on the season, but this favorable matchup bumps him into QB1 territory. He is worthy of a start in all standard leagues this week.
