Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns are having a solid season, but the signal-caller has been inconsistent from a fantasy perspective. This week as the team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars, he could have one of his better games of the season.

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns QB Baker Mayfield

Mayfield hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass in three weeks. But four weeks ago he threw for five scores. So this decision is really going to be heavily based on the matchup.

The good news for Mayfield fantasy owners is that Jacksonville’s pass defense is one of the worst in the league. The team gives up an average of close to 23 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, which is good for 30th out of 32 teams. The unit has also given up 22 touchdowns through the air and have managed to get just eight interceptions.

Mayfield is currently sitting as the 20th best fantasy QB in the league with 132.7 points on the year. But when he takes on lesser defenses, he tends to blow up his stats.
