UPDATE: Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson in the second round of their fight. Paul knocked him down a couple times and then sent him out cold to finish the fight. Watch the knockout here.
We get some high profile boxing this weekend, even if it’s questionable how good it will be. Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. top a seven-fight card at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 28th. The event starts at 8 p.m. ET, with the main card getting underway at approximately 9 p.m.
Tyson and Jones tops the card, but the penultimate fight on the card will bring a curiosity factor in its own right. YouTube personality Jake Paul is fighting his second career professional fight, and third overall fight, when he takes on former three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson in a six-round cruiserweight fight.
Paul fought fellow YouTube personality Ali Eson Gib at the beginning of the year, winning via first round TKO in his pro debut. Robinson has never fought in a boxing match before, although he has said he did some boxing training as part of his NBA workouts. He’s been training since, but is still about to have his very first career boxing match.
The event is a $49.99 PPV and you’ll be able to find it through your cable provider. If you would prefer to watch the fight via live online stream, there are a few options. You can live stream it via FITE.TV, or you can download the FITE app on Android or Apple devices. The app is also available on Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire. On a PS4 (no word on PS5s!) you can order it through the event store.
