Monday pm update: Or maybe not. Adam Schefter is reporting the NFL is still considering a move to later in the week. This is a mess.
Monday update: The game remains on track to be played on Tuesday. There is still a chance of a Tuesday morning postponement, but odds would seem to be growing the game will be played. You can potentially adjust your fantasy lineups before Monday Night Football, but it is still a bit of a roll of the dice. If need big performances, a JuJu Smith-Schuster or Chase Claypool or Diontae Johnson could be worth starting over a David Moore or Alshon Jeffery if you were stuck with no other options.
The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to face off in Week 12, but there is a good chance the game does not happen this week. The game was originally scheduled for Thanksgiving night, but it was moved to Sunday as more and more Ravens players tested positive for Covid-19.
On Thursday evening, we learned that Lamar Jackson and at least three other players reportedly tested positive for the virus. The Steelers canceled practice on Friday and by the afternoon, the NFL moved the game from this coming Sunday to the following Tuesday. The key word is tentative because the Ravens continue to deal with positive Covid-19 tests. If it continues into the weekend, the game would likely be postponed out of Week 12 or just canceled entirely.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers WRs JuJu Smith Schuster, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool
It’s possible this game happens on Tuesday, but there’s still a chance it does not happen. If it is not postponed or canceled until after the Sunday early slate starts, fantasy managers could find themselves in a bind. You are better suited preparing a contingency plan, and if the game has not been postponed or canceled by Sunday morning, playing your alternative options.
