Tale of the Tape for Josh Parisian vs. Parker Porter

In a heavyweight bout on the main card of UFC Fight Night, Josh Parisian will fight Parker Porter Saturday in Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.

The 31-year-old Parisian walks into the octagon with a professional fighting record of 13-3 and a six-match winning streak. This will be his first-ever UFC fight but third pro fight in 2020. Parisian last fought earlier this summer at Dana White’s Contender Series, where he defeated Chad Johnson in Round 1 by knockout using punches.

Before that bout, Parisian got another Round 1 TKO against Marcus Maulding at WXC 86 in January. The rookie UFC fighter has competed at Ares Fighting Championships, Motor City Cagefights, Lights Out Championships 2, LFA, KOTC, TWC Pro Series, and etc.

As for Porter, he enters the UFC APEX with a professional fighting record of 9-6. The 35-year-old from Connecticut made his UFC debut earlier this summer at UFC 252. At the event, he lost to Chris Daukaus in Round 1 by TKO via punches and a knee.

Porter’s last win happened in September of 2019 against Dirlei Broenstrup at CES MMA 58. In that match, the 6-foot fighter defeated Broenstrup in Round 3 by TKO. Over his 13-year fighting career, Porter has competed in the Reality Fighting, Bellator, XFC, World Championship Fighting, and Combat Zone promotions.
