The Dallas Cowboys’ receiving corps has been shaky in recent weeks but could get a boost from the return of Andy Dalton. Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup could are Dallas’s top pass catchers. We’ll go over the fantasy football upside of the Cowboys’ top wideouts ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the Washington Football Team.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys WRs Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup
Cooper has tallied 26 receptions for 240 yards and a score in three Dalton starts. While he hasn’t showcased much scoring potential he’s consistently hauled in a high percentage of his targets. Lamb and Gallup haven’t been nearly as lucky. While Lamb has scored in two straight games he’s averaging less than 33 receiving yards per game when Dalton starts. He didn’t catch any of his five targets the last time he faced Washington. Gallup was also held to zero catches against Washington earlier this year and hasn’t found the end zone in eight games. Dalton Schultz has been a more productive pass catcher than Gallup this season, so his outlook isn’t great.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
I recommend starting Cooper. Lamb might be worth a flex play in deeper leagues but Gallup doesn’t seem appealing in any format.
