The Dallas Cowboys got back on track in Week 11 with Andy Dalton at the wheel and they will look to continue on a win streak in a divisional matchup with the Washington Football Team. With a revived outlook for the Cowboys offense, is Dalton Schultz worthy of a spot in your starting lineup? We break down the fantasy implications below.

Fantasy Football analysis: TE Dalton Schultz

Dalton Schultz turned in a commendable performance in Week 11, as he caught four balls for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings. He finished the game with 12.5 PPR points. This weekend he takes on a Washington defense that has defended the tight end position at about the same level as the Vikings. Unfortunately for Schultz, his target volume is low and his bottom line is often touchdown dependent, as he has only reached double digit scoring in one game in which he didn’t find the end zone. For this reason, Schultz still hasn’t broken into TE1 territory, but he is a serviceable fill-in for anyone with an injured TE or a TE on bye. Start him as a mid-range TE 2 where necessary, but he can stay on the bench in most standard leagues.
