Friday update: Head coach Sean McDermott said on Friday morning that Brown will be OUT for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Thursday update: The Bills are not practicing on Thursday, but submitted an estimated participation report. John Brown is listed as an estimated DNP for Thursday following a DNP on Wednesday. He is not trending well for Sunday.
The Buffalo Bills return from their bye and wide receiver John Brown will not be practicing to open Week 12, per Matthew Fairburn. Brown played in Week 10 after getting over a knee injury, but is not off to a good start as the team prepares for Sunday’s home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Head coach Sean McDermott told the media the team is taking it one day at a time to see how Brown progresses through the week, per Sal Capaccio. The team has two more practices, although they likely will only have one more full practice on Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We likely won’t know until at least Friday what Brown’s status looks like.
Brown has missed two games this season and even on a per-game basis is decidedly behind Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley in the pecking order. Diggs remains the standard strong start in all fantasy football formats, while Beasley is a solid PPR start. Brown is a flex if healthy.
