College basketball in 2020-21 will be very on the fly. Many teams haven’t even posted a full schedule for the season that starts in less that 48 hours. Games will likely be canceled and rescheduled right up until tip-off. Some leagues and tournaments may opt for playing in an NBA-type bubble, while others will just go with limited crowds.
It’s going to be wild and willy-nilly and we’ll have no idea what’s going to happen until it actually does. For example Baylor canceled their trip to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut this morning, and were scheduled to play Arizona State. Now there are rumors they might be getting Virginia instead. Is that going to happen? Who knows! But we’ll do our best to keep up here.
There are more than 350 Division I college basketball teams, and no central repository of data here. We’ll do the best we can here, but it might not be completely comprehensive and up-to-the-second. That’s just going to be the nature of college hoops this season.
