Ryan Fitzpatrick post-game press conference: Fitz’s comments would suggest this is not a multi-week benching.
Fitz: "It's very clear this is Tua's team. For me, my defined role is whatever the team needs out of me."

Tua Tagovailoa post-game press conference: It’s still not entirely clear what was going on, but Tua’s post-game comments suggest it was a benching for this game and not an injury issue.
Tua's reaction to being removed from the game: "My thoughts were whatever was going to be best for the team. When I was in, we coudn't really get things going."

Post-game update: The Dolphins did not announce an injury for Tua, although he was listed on the injury report with a foot injury during the week.
Tua Tagovailoa is out of the game in the fourth quarter, and Ryan Fitzpatrick is in. It’s difficult to know if he is out for an injury or for poor play, but he was playing poorly with just 83 yards passing through three and a half quarters while trailing the 3-6 Broncos 17-13.
With the Dolphins at 6-3 and in need of a win in a good matchup like this one, the team does need more out of their quarterback play right now.
You can see here that Tagovailoa may have made a foot injury he was dealing with worse:
The Dolphins pull Tua Tagovailoa and put Ryan Fitzpatrick in. He had a foot issue on the injury report. Might have tweaked it here. Not sure if that’s why he’s out or Flores just looking for a spark. pic.twitter.com/jaGDG0luDN
