Ryan Fitzpatrick in for Tua Tagovailoa in Week 11

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa struggled in Week 11, but also might have injured his foot.

Ryan Fitzpatrick post-game press conference: Fitz’s comments would suggest this is not a multi-week benching.

Tua Tagovailoa post-game press conference: It’s still not entirely clear what was going on, but Tua’s post-game comments suggest it was a benching for this game and not an injury issue.

Post-game update: The Dolphins did not announce an injury for Tua, although he was listed on the injury report with a foot injury during the week.

Tua Tagovailoa is out of the game in the fourth quarter, and Ryan Fitzpatrick is in. It’s difficult to know if he is out for an injury or for poor play, but he was playing poorly with just 83 yards passing through three and a half quarters while trailing the 3-6 Broncos 17-13.

With the Dolphins at 6-3 and in need of a win in a good matchup like this one, the team does need more out of their quarterback play right now.
