What to do with Derek Carr in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Derek Carr ahead of the Raiders Week 11 matchup against the Chiefs.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr isn’t always the most exciting player at his position. But he can be productive from time to time for fantasy football lineups looking for a low-risk, low-ceiling option in any given week. He has the chance to be a decent starter this week against the Chiefs.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders QB Derek Carr

One look at Carr’s weekly stats and you’ll know why he’s not a guy you would want in your lineup every week. Last week against the Broncos he had just 154 passing yards, the third week in a row he’s had fewer than 200 in a game. He didn’t throw any touchdowns in that one either. He didn’t need to with the running game and defense working so well. One nice thing about his overall numbers is that he’s only thrown two interceptions all season.

But he’ll have to throw it more this week to keep up with the Chiefs. The last time he played Kansas City, back in Week 5, he had three touchdowns and 347 yards.
