What to do with Ezekiel Elliott in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Ezekiel Elliott ahead of the Cowboys Week 11 matchup against the Vikings.

Breaking down the mid-tier running backs for Week 11

Once a stalwart in any fantasy football lineup, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has become another victim of the team’s struggling offense. Could he get back on track this week against the Vikings?

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys QB Ezekiel Elliott

Elliott hasn’t averaged more than 3.8 yards per carry in his last three games; his career average is 4.5 yards per attempt, for perspective. In addition to the offensive struggles, he’s been dealing with a hamstring issue lately too, but hopefully last week’s bye at least gave him a chance to get over that.

The Vikings defense has been pretty good against running backs this season. They have allowed five rushing touchdowns, but only one since Week 3. Elliott always gets his touches—he’s too big a part of this offense not to give him the ball—but he may struggle to produce the kind of numbers we were used to seeing. Still, he should be in your lineup, just because of what he’s capable of doing and the regular workload he carries. Just temper your expectations (or find someone else in DFS formats).
