What to do with D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel ahead of the Panthers Week 11 matchup against the Lions.

Game day update: It’s still not clear who will start at quarterback for the Panthers. Teddy Bridgewater will go through pre-game warmups and while the team seems optimistic, if he can’t go, P.J. Walker would get the start. For the time being, ESPN projects Anderson with 15.6 points, Moore with 14.0 points, and Samuel with 13.8 points in PPR leagues.

The Carolina Panthers offense had a rough outing last week against the Buccaneers. But this week they take on a far more favorable opponent, the Detroit Lions, that should give the team’s receivers a shot a fantasy football relevance.

Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers WRs D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel

There weren’t a lot of yards to go around last week in the Panthers’ loss to the Buccaneers, just 122 to be exact. So it wasn’t a game representative of what these three may or may not do this week in fantasy football. D.J. Moore led the bunch with 96 yards on four catches, a week after picking up just 18.

Anderson is the typically the best receiver, for fantasy purposes, out of this group, usually leading in targets. I wouldn’t fade Moore, however. Last week was the fourth time in his last six games that he’s had more than 90 yards. He also leads this group with four touchdowns. Samuel doesn’t get enough consistent production to merit fantasy considering in most weeks.

The mitigating factor here is Teddy Bridgewater’s status. It looks like he’ll play, which helps normalize potential production numbers among this group.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore. Sit Curtis Samuel.
