Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season is underway and there are plenty of lines worth tracking. We’ve identified some matchups that could be interesting from a betting perspective ahead of this weekend’s action. Let’s go over the odds and betting splits for Week 11’s remaining schedule.
Drew Brees has been sidelined by a rib injury he suffered in Week 9 and is set to miss the New Orleans Saints’ matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. While The Saints are 4.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook and -240 on the moneyline, 69 percent of the handle has been wagered on Atlanta coming out on top. The public doesn’t appear to think any combination of Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill will lead to a New Orleans win and Alvin Kamara’s questionable status won’t help the Saints’ case.
The Kansas City Chiefs (-375) and Las Vegas Raiders combined for 72 points earlier this season and bettors are expecting another shootout in the second meeting between these two NFC West squads. The point total is installed at 56.6 and 92 percent of the handle is on the over. Derek Carr is in the middle of a cold streak throwing the football and I think there’s a good chance Las Vegas could drag the point total down. The Raiders will have to throw for more than 200 yards to make this a shootout and Carr hasn’t eclipsed that mark since Week 7.
The New York Jets (+355) are the biggest underdogs of the weekend. The Los Angeles Chargers are 8.5-point favorites against the only winless team in the NFL. Los Angeles has only been in one-score games this year so this game could very well go down to the wire. The public is split on how to bet and has placed 51 percent of the handle on point spread wagers on New York. The Chargers command 59 percent of the total bets on point spread wagers.
