How many wins do the Falcons have and where are they compared to preseason win total odds

We track the Falcons win total so far in 2020 and whether they are on pace for their preseason odds.

Ahead of the 2020 NFL season, DraftKings Sportsbook set projected win totals for each NFL team. Some teams are well on their way to exceeding these win totals, outperforming the bar oddsmakers set for them prior to Week 1. Other teams need a bit more help to get there; the Falcons are one of those teams.

The Falcons entered the season projected at an eight-game win total, and things haven’t quite shaken out in their favor through the first eight weeks of the season. Heading into the season, it seemed as though 8-8 would be fairly realistic, considering the stability of Matt Ryan and his receiving corps of Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage at the fold. The addition of Todd Gurley also left some room for upside.

Things quickly went astray, however, as the Falcons started 0-5 for the first time since 1997. Head coach Dan Quinn was fired, and the team picked up their first win in the week following against the Minnesota Vikings. Though this team has plenty of offensive pieces to move the ball well, their defense is allowing a league-high 6.6 yards per play and rank 10th in points allowed to opposing offenses.
