What to do with Carlos Hyde, DeeJay Dallas, Travis Homer in Week 11 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlooks of Carlos Hyde, DeeJay Dallas, and Travis Homer ahead of the Seahawks Week 11 matchup against the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.

Breaking down the mid-tier running backs for Week 11

Game status: Chris Carson and Travis Homer are both INACTIVE for Week 10.

The Seahawks will look to bounce back from a disappointing Week 10 loss to the Rams as they take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11. The Cardinals have allowed the 9th fewest points to opposing RBs so far this season, and could be a tough match-up for this banged up backfield. Are any of these backs worthy of a spot in your starting lineup? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks RBs

Carlos Hyde was able to log a full practice Tuesday and will be taking the field on Thursday night for the first time since Week 7. The last time we saw Hyde, he logged a respectable performance in which he had 68 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Chris Carson suffered an injury in that game, leading to Hyde’s increased workload before suffering an injury of his own. Hyde demonstrated that he is capable of solid fantasy production in Carson’s absence. Though Carson is currently listed as Questionable for Thursday, Adam Schefter indicated that Carson is unlikely to play. Should Carson actually sit this one out, Hyde would have some flex appeal in standard leagues. Owners should be cautiously optimistic as his workload comes with a lot of question marks in a crowded backfield, and his opponent is not particularly friendly.

Travis Homer did not receive any carries in Week 10, though he was involved in the passing game and had three receptions for 19 yards. Homer was minimally involved with both Hyde and Carson out, so with each of them potentially returning, Homer’s already miniscule workload is likely to shrink even more. Homer is not a viable fantasy option this week.

DeeJay Dallas turned in an impressive performance in Week 8 when he had five receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown as well as 18 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown. In the two games since then, he has had only nine carries and four receptions. He did manage to find the end zone in Week 9, but given the return of players higher on the depth chart, Dallas’ role is likley to shrink along with Homer’s. He can be left on the bench this weekend as his small workload makes him an unreliable fantasy option.
