But someone in his crew isn’t afraid to make a basketball statement. Senator Kelly Loeffler is a part-owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, and she’s running for re-election in what is likely going to be one of the two most expensive Senate races in US history against Reverend Raphael Warnock.

Loeffler has spoken out extensively against the Black Lives Matter movement as well as taking other positions that don’t align politically with the values of the mostly-progressive league. But for one new player to the NBA, it doesn’t seem he’s on board with the Dream’s owner either.
