It took way longer than anyone had anticipated, but the 2020 NBA Draft is finally upon us! The draft will take place Wednesday night virtually at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, starting at 7 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN. The Minnesota Timberwolves have the No. 1 overall pick (for now) and will have their pick of some of the top prospects for 2020. Among those potential picks is LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards and James Wiseman, the three players who books predict have a legit shot at going first overall.
With this draft being somewhat of a mystery, you’ll notice on the table below that there are, well, very unique Mock Drafts among the four participants from our staff (myself included). We’ve got DK Playbook Contributor Julian Edlow, DK Nation Staff Writers Ameer Tyree and Jovan Alford, as well as myself, DK Nation Deputy NBA Editor Benjamin Zweiman (thank you, thank you, you’re far too kind). The crew is split at No. 1 overall with two believing Ball will go to the T-Wolves and the other two going with Edwards. Either way, it should be an interesting draft. Check out our predictions below!
Update: The Knicks have reportedly traded the No. 27 pick as part of a deal with the Jazz for the No. 23 pick in the draft.
Update: Center prospect Onyeka Okongwu is dealing with a fractured toe that will keep him out 1-3 weeks, per reports.
