There are a few tight ends widely available that either have favorable matchups heading into Week 11, had successful Week 10 performances, or could benefit from an injury. With that in mind, here are three tight ends with under 50% ownership in traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up for Week 10.
Week 11 byes: 49ers, Giants, Bears, Bills
Jordan Reed, Evan Engram, and Jimmy Graham won’t be available.
Jordan Reed, San Francisco 49ers (19 percent)
Next up — BYE, @LAR, BUF, WAS, @DAL
Reed saw his snap count climb from 13 to 31 between Weeks 9 and 10 and showcased his playmaking ability in his last outing. Reed caught five of his six targets for 62 yards against the New Orleans Saints and nearly split snaps evenly with Ross Dwelley. I expect him to get more involved moving forward. He could come back in even better shape after his team’s Week 11 bye.
Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team (35 percent)
Next up — CIN, @DAL, @PIT, @SF, SEA
Washington is throwing the ball like there’s no tomorrow. Alex Smith chucked 55 attempts in Week 10 and Thomas caught four of the six targets that came his way for 66 yards. Washington is limited at receiver behind Terry McLaurin so running backs and Thomas while likely get a surge in chances to produce with Smith under center.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams (53 percent)
Next up — @TB, SF, @ARI, NE, NYJ
I’ll make an exception for Higbee because of how dangerous he can be at 100 percent. His production has dropped since he hurt his hand but he’s trending toward being a real impact player again. He played more than 80 percent of the Rams’ snaps in Week 10 for the first time since Week 5 and ranked third in targets with 6. His return to prominence will affect Gerald Everett and Johnny Mundt.
