Ahead of the 2020 NFL season, DraftKings Sportsbook set projected win totals for each NFL team. Some teams are well on their way to exceeding these win totals, outperforming the bar oddsmakers set for them prior to Week 1. Other teams need a bit more help to get there.
The Buccaneers have a new look for the 2020 season. Tom Brady and Bruce Arians have stacked together what is perhaps the most talented collection of offensive weapons we’ve ever seen. The team recruited Rob Gronkowski to rejoin the league in the offseason, and since then, they’ve also signed wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back Leonard Fournette. Brady currently ranks first in pass attempts and fourth in passing yards and touchdowns.
Brady hasn’t been without his bumps in the road, however. Despite having three or more touchdowns in four of his 10 games so far, we have seen him struggle in some surprising moments, nearly losing to the Chicago Bears and New York Giants.
To help his cause, the Bucs defense has dominated, holding opponents to just 4.9 yards per play and tying the Steelers to lead the league with 17 turnovers generated. The Bucs need one more win to exceed their preseason projected win total, which they should easily manage considering their opponents to close out the season.
