Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals had a week off to cool their heels after pulling off a big upset over the Tennessee Titans back in Week 8. Hopefully, they enjoyed the break because the schedule is giving them the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. Beyond the win potential, can Burrow keep up what’s been a very good run of fantasy football production?
Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals QB Joe Burrow
Burrow threw a pair of touchdowns in their win over the Titans, completing 26 of his 37 passes for 249 yards and no interceptions. The week before that he played his best game of the season, throwing for more than 400 yards, three touchdowns, and a rushing score to boot against Browns.
The Steelers present a more difficult opponent. They’ve picked off opposing quarterbacks 11 times so far this season, while allowing 14 touchdowns. However, it’s not impossible to throw multiple scores against this team; it’s happened six times. It’s just that their ability to intercept opponents gives it some downside. Burrow isn’t a bad option here, but expect fewer points than he’s posted in his last two outings.
