What to do with Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard in Week 10 fantasy football

Game day update: Shepard has a narrow edge over Slayton and is projected to score 13.51 fantasy points on ESPN. Slayton has struggled as of late but is projected for 11.24 fantasy points. Only Jones is expected to outperform the two wideouts among Giants players.

The New York Giants haven’t been successful throwing the football this season. Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton stand out as New York’s top aerial threats. Daniel Jones will need support from both in the Giants’ Week 10 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Football analysis: Giants WRs Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard

Slayton got off to a strong start while Shepard was on the IR earlier this season. While he leads the Giants with 491 receiving yards, he’s caught three or fewer passes in six of his nine games. His speed makes him a dangerous deep threat capable of racking up chunk yardage, but it’s often hit or miss with him when it comes to production. Shepard has a 77 percent catch rate and has five fewer catches but has only played in five games. He’s tallied at least six catches four times this season and is averaging more than seven targets per contest. Now that Shepard has hit his stride he looks like much more of a WR1 than Slayton.

Start Shepard over Slayton. He’s been targeted more consistently than any other New York wideout since returning from the IR.
