What to do with Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt in Week 10 fantasy football

We go over Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Browns Week 10 matchup against the Texans.

Game day update: The Browns officially activated Nick Chubb off injured reserve on Saturday and will have him back in Week 10. It’s unclear how the workload will be split between Chubb and Kareem Hunt, and ESPN’s PPR projections reflect that. ESPN projects each running back with 14.2 points.

The Cleveland Browns might have the best one-two punch in the NFL at running back and appear to be getting Nick Chubb back from the IR for their Week 10 matchup against the Houston Texans. Chubb will continue to split work with Kareem Hunt, but both backs could thrive against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns RBs Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt

Hunt has gotten a ton of touches since Chubb sprained his MCL against the Dallas Cowboys but has only scored twice in his last four games. He amassed 254 rushing yards on 65 carries and also caught 10 passes for 71 yards as the lead back. Chubb doesn’t have Hunt’s versatility but is averaging 5.9 yards per carry and four rushing touchdowns on the year. He has two 100-yard games under his belt but might not get his usual volume.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Both backs are worth starting in this matchup, but if you have to choose one of the two, I’d give a slight edge to Hunt because this will be Chubb’s first game back from the IR.
