It’s always great when you get an unexpected boost from your kicker in fantasy football and we have our eyes on a couple players who could put a solid numbers of balls through the uprights in Week 10. There are also some kickers you probably want to stay away from. Here’s who we think is worth keeping an eye on.
Kicker Starts
Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Sanders has flown under the radar all season but is the only kicker whose made 100 percent of his kicks this season. He’s a perfect 17-for-17 on field goals has made all 21 of his extra-point attempts. Only Younghoe Koo has scored more fantasy points among kickers and the Chargers have struggled to stop everyone in recent weeks.
Tyler Bass, Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals
The point total for the matchup between the Bills and Cardinals is installed at 56 on DraftKings Sportsbook. It’s expected to be the highest-scoring game in Week 10 and Arizona is a 2-point favorite. Buffalo could be forced to settle more in this barn burner, and Bass isn’t far off from the most productive kickers in the game. He’s attempted the second-most field goals in the NFL.
Kicker Sits
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams
Seattle has arguably the most explosive offense in the league but Myers has barely been given opportunities to contribute. He’s perfect on field goals but has only attempted seven on the year. Less than a field goal per game isn’t enough to entice any fantasy manager.
Dan Bailey, Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears
Bailey has only made eight field goals on the year and will be up against a Bears defense that excels at keeping the score low. Dalvin Cook has been electric as of late but it’s hard ti be one dimensional against Chicago. The Bears have only given up more than 20 points at home once this season so don’t expect Bailey to get many chances to boost his stats.
