How and what to watch for Colorado State vs. Boise State

Boise State is coming off a blowout loss, but will the Broncos bounce back against Colorado State on Thursday night?

The Boise State Broncos will look to get back on the winning track when they host the Colorado State Rams on Thursday night.

Boise State started the season 2-0 with a pair of wins in the Mountain West before getting blown out by #8 BYU on Friday night 51-17. Cade Fennegan completed 15 of 26 passes for 182 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Khalil Shakir had a fantastic day with 10 catches for 139 yards with two receiving touchdowns. The loss also dropped Boise State from the rankings.

Colorado State comes into this game with a 1-1 record and earned its first victory of the season against Wyoming 34-24 last Thursday. Patrick O’Brien completed 18 of 26 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Dante Wright caught 10 passes for 146 yards, while Trey McBride caught five balls for 90 yards and two touchdowns. A’Jon Vivens rushed for 62 yards on 14 carries to lead the Rams.

Boise State won all nine games of this series including a 31-24 on the road in 2019.
