The Toledo Rockets head on the road Wednesday night to take on the Western Michigan Broncos in a game between unbeaten MAC teams.

Toledo is coming off a 38-3 home victory over Bowling Green. The Rockets shut down the Eagles with ease, and Eli Peters finished with four touchdown passes on 20 of 32 passing for 214 yards with each of those scores went to a different pass catcher. Western Michigan did what teams do when they play Akron - win by a lot. The Broncos were 58-13 victors last Wednesday, and they overmatched the Zips in every way. Kaleb Eleby threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns on 12 of 16 passes. La’Darius Jefferson rushed for 70 yards on nine carries with a touchdown, and Sean Tyler added a touchdown on 68 yards rushing on nine attempts. The Best Bet

Yes Western Michigan will be seeing a major step up in competition after opening up against Akron, but the Broncos should head into their home opener with confidence after a blowout win. Toledo took advantage of three turnovers in its Week 1 matchup, and it’s unlikely Western Michigan will be that careless with the ball. Let’s go with the home favorites by at least a field goal.

Pick: Western Michigan -2.5
