Best available wide receivers on the Week 10 waiver wire

There are a few wide receivers widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 10, or had successful Week 9 performances, or could benefit from an injury. With that in mind, here are eight wide receivers with under 50% ownership in traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up for Week 10.

Week 10 byes: Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets

Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, Tyreek Hill, and Jamison Crowder won’t be available.

Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers (30 percent)

Next up — TB, DET, @MIN, BYE, DEN

Samuel followed up his breakout game in Week 9 with another quality performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10. He caught all nine of his targets for 105 yards and a score and tallied three carries for 15 yards despite the return of Christian McCaffrey. Samuel actually logged more attempts than Mike Davis on Sunday. It’s clear that he’s a force to be reckoned with now that he’s gaining momentum.

Jalen Reagor, Philadelphia Eagles (24 percent)

Next up — @NYC, @CLE, SEA, @GB, NO

Reagor caught three passes for 16 yards and a score in his first game back from the IR and is now coming into Week 10 fresh after a Week 9 bye. The speedster could prove to be a dangerous threat playing opposite Travis Fulgham. The Eagles have been depleted out wide all year and could get a significant boost from their top draft pick in the 2020 class if he gets into a rhythm.

Jakobi Meyers, New England Patriots (13 percent)

Next up — BAL, @HOU, ARI, @LAC, @LAR

Meyers has seen a huge target share over the last three weeks and it culminated in his best game ever on Monday night. He caught 12-of-14 targets for 169 yards against the Jets and has 28 targets over his last three games. The Ravens make for a tough matchup, but Meyers’ target share should keep him useful and then his schedule gets much better.

Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos (21 percent)

Next up — @LV, MIA, NO, @KC, @CAR

Patrick has been edged out by Jerry Jeudy in passing yards after missing a game but leads Denver in touchdown catches (3). He has two 100-yard games under his belt and should be a focal point for a Denver team that’s starting to figure things out on offense.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers (15 percent)

Next up — JAX, @IND, CHI, PHI, @DET

It’s been all about Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Aaron Jones in Wisconsin this season but MVS’s Week 9 stat line made him seem worth taking a look at. He’s underperformed for most of the year but both his catches on Sunday were touchdowns. Allen Lazard is set to miss at least another Week with a core injury so MVS could continue to fill in as the Packers WR2 and be a relevant fantasy option for a little longer.

David Moore, Seattle Seahawks (3 percent)

Next up — @LAR, ARI, @PHI, NYG, NYJ

Moore takes a back seat to DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett but his having a solid season behind the two stars. The WR3 has 316 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions. While he only has 26 catches, he’s a top 50 WR in standard and PPR leagues thanks to his ability to make big plays.

Richie James, San Francisco 49ers (2 percent)

Next up — @NO, BYE, @LAR, BUF, WAS

James shocked the world by catching nine passes for 184 yards and a score against the Packers in Week 9. He was Nick Mullens’ favorite target with Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk on the Covid-19 list and made the most of his opportunity. There’s no chance he’ll see the same production with both San Francisco’s top wideouts poised to return in Week 10, but there’s a good chance he earned more snaps for himself his last time out. The 49ers drew up plays for him last week and could look to him again now that they know what he’s capable of.

Olamide Zaccheaus, Atlanta Falcons (0 percent)

Next up — BYE, @NO, LV, NO, @LAC

Zaccheaus led the Falcons with with 103 receiving yards on four catches in Week 9 and benefited from the absence of Calvin Ridley, who was ruled out after not practicing because of a foot injury ahead of the weekend. It’ll be hard for Zaccheaus to come close to crossing the century mark again if Ridley is back for Week 11 after Atlanta’s Week 10 bye, but he’s has proven that he can thrive as a key part of Atlanta’s passing attack.
